Community Guidelines

Version 1.0 · Effective date: 2026.07.23

These Community Guidelines set out the standards of behaviour expected of everyone who uses [OPERATOR NAME] (the "Service", "we", "us", or "our"), a fan-made, independent, virtual Counter-Strike 2 trading simulator. They apply to all accounts, chat messages, trades, listings, profiles, company names, showcases, and any other content or activity on the Service.

Important: the Service is a game. Everything in it is VIRTUAL. All balances, skins, cases, trades, rewards, and other in-game items exist only inside the simulator, have NO real-world monetary value, cannot be cashed out, and cannot be exchanged, redeemed, or converted into real money or real Steam items. The Service is not a real skin-trading site, not a marketplace, not a gambling service, and does not involve real money or real wagering of any kind.

The Service is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Valve Corporation, Steam, or any of their partners. Counter-Strike, CS2, Steam, and all related names, marks, and imagery are the property of their respective owners and are used here only to describe a fan-made simulation.

By using the Service you agree to follow these Guidelines. They should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where a term is defined in the Terms of Service, it has the same meaning here.

1. Scope and Purpose

These Guidelines exist to keep the Service safe, fair, and welcoming for a diverse community of players. They describe what is and is not acceptable, and the actions we may take when they are broken.

The Guidelines apply everywhere on the Service, including direct messages and chat, public and private trades, marketplace listings, case openings, battles, jackpots, leaderboards, company pages, usernames, avatars, showcases, and any other feature that lets you communicate or interact with other players.

  • They apply to all users regardless of role, level, or account age.
  • They apply to content you create, share, link to, or cause to appear on the Service.
  • They apply in addition to, and do not replace, the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Respectful Communication

Treat other players the way you would want to be treated. The Service is a shared space and healthy competition is welcome, but it must stay respectful.

  • Be civil in chat, trade negotiations, and public spaces, even during disagreements.
  • Keep banter friendly; do not let competitiveness turn into personal attacks.
  • Respect that players come from many countries, cultures, backgrounds, and skill levels.
  • Do not deliberately provoke, bait, or wind up other players to get a reaction.

3. No Harassment or Bullying

Harassment of any kind is not tolerated. This includes behaviour directed at a single player as well as coordinated campaigns by a group.

  • Do not target, follow, or repeatedly contact a player who has asked you to stop.
  • Do not send threats of violence or harm, whether serious or supposedly as a joke.
  • Do not use sexual harassment, unwanted sexual advances, or sexually explicit messages toward other players.
  • Do not encourage or coordinate others to pile on, mass-report, or otherwise harass a player.
  • Do not use the Service to continue harassment that began on another platform.

4. No Hate Speech or Discrimination

There is zero tolerance for hateful conduct. Content that attacks or demeans people based on who they are is strictly prohibited.

  • No slurs, dehumanising language, or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or serious illness.
  • No promotion, glorification, or support of hateful ideologies, hate groups, or extremist organisations.
  • No hateful symbols, imagery, or coded references in usernames, avatars, company names, showcases, or messages.
  • No content that celebrates or trivialises tragedies, atrocities, or acts of terrorism.

5. No Spam or Disruptive Content

Keep shared spaces usable. Spam and disruptive flooding degrade the experience for everyone.

  • Do not flood chat, feeds, or trade channels with repeated, duplicated, or meaningless messages.
  • Do not post unsolicited advertising, referral schemes, phishing links, or links to malware or off-platform marketplaces.
  • Do not abuse mentions, reports, or notifications to bury or drown out other players.
  • Do not post excessive off-topic content that disrupts a channel or feature.

6. No Cheating or Exploiting

The Service is backend-authoritative: odds, drops, prices, and rewards are decided by our servers. Attempting to bypass, trick, or game those systems is prohibited.

  • Do not use exploits, bugs, or glitches to gain virtual items, balance, XP, or rankings you were not intended to receive.
  • Do not tamper with, intercept, or forge network requests, tokens, or client behaviour to alter game outcomes.
  • Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or manipulate the pricing engine, drop odds, or reward logic.
  • Do not exploit rounding, timing, concurrency, or idempotency behaviour to duplicate items or balance.
  • If you gain virtual items or balance through a bug, stop, and report it (see Section 12). Continuing to use a known exploit is a violation.

7. No Manipulation of Game Systems

Even without a technical exploit, deliberately distorting shared systems for unfair advantage is prohibited. This protects the integrity of the market, leaderboards, seasons, and competitive features.

  • No market manipulation, such as coordinated wash trading, fake listings, or artificial price pumping or dumping between accounts you control.
  • No collusion in jackpots, case battles, races, or leaderboards to guarantee or transfer outcomes unfairly.
  • No use of multiple accounts (multi-accounting) to farm rewards, inflate stats, feed a main account, or evade limits.
  • No abuse of missions, achievements, referral rewards, or seasonal mechanics through artificial or repetitive activity.

8. No Scamming or Deception

Trades and interactions must be honest. Even though items are virtual and have no real-world value, deceiving other players to take their in-game items or balance is a serious violation.

  • Do not misrepresent an item, trade, offer, or reward to trick another player.
  • Do not promise in-game or out-of-game consideration you do not intend to deliver.
  • Do not run bait-and-switch, fake middleman, or fake giveaway schemes.
  • Do not attempt to move any trade off the Service on the promise of real money, real Steam items, or anything of real-world value; the Service does not support and expressly prohibits this, and we cannot recover anything lost that way.

9. No Impersonation

Be yourself and do not pretend to be someone you are not. Impersonation erodes trust and is often used to scam or harass.

  • Do not impersonate other players, our staff or moderators, or the Service itself.
  • Do not impersonate real people, brands, or organisations, including Valve, Steam, or their representatives.
  • Do not use usernames, avatars, or profiles designed to make others believe you hold official or privileged status.
  • Do not claim endorsement, partnership, or authority you do not have.

10. Protect Personal Information (No Doxxing)

Respect everyone's privacy, including your own. Personal information must not be exposed or weaponised.

  • Do not publish, threaten to publish, or seek out another person's private information, such as real name, address, phone number, email, workplace, government identifiers, or precise location, without their clear consent (doxxing).
  • Do not share screenshots, logs, or private messages in order to harass, intimidate, or expose someone.
  • Be careful about sharing your own personal data in public chat, profiles, or showcases; treat it as public once posted.
  • Never ask another player for account credentials, one-time codes, or sensitive personal data.

11. Account, Bot, and Automation Rules

Your account is for your personal, human use of the Service. Automated or commercialised access undermines fairness and security.

a) No selling, buying, or transferring accounts

Accounts, and the virtual items and balances associated with them, have no real-world value and may not be sold, bought, rented, gifted for real-world consideration, or otherwise transferred outside the mechanics the Service provides.

  • Do not advertise accounts or in-game holdings for real money or other real-world benefit.
  • Do not share or hand off your account to another person; keep your credentials private.

b) No bots or unauthorised automation

Only interact with the Service as a human through the official client. Automated interaction, whether to farm rewards or to overload the system, is prohibited.

  • Do not use bots, scripts, macros, auto-clickers, or other automation to play, trade, or generate activity.
  • Do not scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service at scale or in a way that burdens our systems.
  • Do not build or operate unauthorised clients, overlays, or integrations that interact with the Service on your behalf.
  • Simulated in-game characters operated by the Service itself (for example NPC sellers or filler participants) are part of the game and are not user bots; do not present your own automation as if it were one of them.

12. Reporting Exploits and Violations

Community safety is a shared responsibility. If you find a bug that grants an unfair advantage, or you witness behaviour that breaks these Guidelines, you must report it rather than exploit it or stay silent.

  • Report security issues, exploits, or duplication bugs promptly to [CONTACT EMAIL] and stop using the exploit immediately.
  • Report harassment, hate speech, scams, or other violations using the in-app reporting tools where available, or by contacting [CONTACT EMAIL].
  • Provide honest, accurate details; do not file false, malicious, or mass reports.
  • Do not publicly disclose an unpatched exploit before we have had a reasonable opportunity to address it.
  • Good-faith reporting will not, by itself, be treated as a violation; deliberately withholding or trading on a known exploit will be.

13. Content You Post

You are responsible for everything you post, upload, or display on the Service, including usernames, avatars, company names, showcases, and messages.

  • Do not post content that is illegal, that infringes others' intellectual property or privacy rights, or that you do not have the right to share.
  • Do not post sexually explicit material, graphic violence, or content that sexualises minors in any form; the latter will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
  • Do not upload malware, or content designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to any system.
  • We may remove, hide, or restrict any content that breaches these Guidelines, at our discretion.

14. Fair Play and the Virtual Economy

The in-game economy is a simulation designed for entertainment. Play within its intended mechanics.

  • Treat virtual balance, skins, and rewards as game features with no real-world value and no cashout.
  • Do not present the Service, its items, or its outcomes as real gambling, real investment, or a route to real-world profit.
  • Do not pressure, coach, or trick other players into risky in-game behaviour by implying real-world value.
  • Use trading, upgrading, battles, jackpots, and other features as intended, not as vehicles for the abuses described above.

15. Moderation and Enforcement Decisions

Our moderators and automated systems help enforce these Guidelines. We aim to be fair and consistent, but moderation necessarily involves judgement.

  • We may review accounts, content, and activity to assess compliance, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
  • We consider context, severity, intent, history, and impact when deciding on action.
  • Moderator decisions are made at our reasonable discretion; serious or repeated violations may lead to action without prior warning.
  • We may act on off-platform conduct where it directly affects the safety or integrity of the Service or its community.
  • Nothing here limits any rights or remedies we hold under the Terms of Service or applicable [GOVERNING LAW].

16. Sanctions Ladder

Where a violation occurs, we may apply one or more of the measures below. These are typically escalating, but we may skip steps for serious, repeated, or high-impact conduct, and we may apply a measure to protect the community while an issue is investigated.

a) Warning

A formal notice that specified behaviour breaches these Guidelines and must stop. Warnings put the account on notice that further violations may lead to stronger action.

b) Mute

A temporary or ongoing restriction on chat, messaging, or other communication features, used mainly for spam, harassment, or abusive communication while other activity may continue.

c) Trading restriction

A limit on trading, listing, or related economic features, used mainly for scamming, market manipulation, or economy abuse, while the rest of the account may remain usable.

d) Temporary ban

A time-limited suspension of access to the account or the Service, used for serious or repeated violations. Access is restored when the suspension period ends, subject to compliance.

e) Permanent ban

A permanent termination of the account and access to the Service, reserved for the most serious violations, repeated offences after prior sanctions, or conduct that poses an ongoing risk to the community. Associated accounts may also be actioned to prevent evasion.

17. Consequences for Virtual Items and Balance

Because everything in the Service is virtual and has no real-world value, sanctions may affect in-game holdings without any right to compensation.

  • We may remove, reverse, freeze, or reset virtual items, balance, XP, or rankings obtained through violations.
  • We may reverse trades or outcomes that resulted from scamming, exploits, or manipulation.
  • No real-world refund, payment, or compensation is owed for virtual items or balance affected by enforcement, as they never had real-world value or a cashout path.

18. Appeals

If you believe an enforcement action was mistaken, you may appeal.

  • Submit appeals to [CONTACT EMAIL] with your account details and a clear explanation.
  • Provide any relevant context; we may ask for further information.
  • We aim to review appeals within a reasonable time, but we are not obliged to reverse a decision, and repeated or bad-faith appeals may be declined.

19. Minimum Age

The Service is intended for users who meet our minimum age requirement. You must be at least [MINIMUM AGE] years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the Service. Accounts that do not meet this requirement may be restricted or removed. See the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for details.

20. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, community needs, or applicable law. We will update the version and effective date above, and where changes are material we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Guidelines.
